Rescheduling and Cancelling

Key Information about Cancelling or Rescheduling a UAT-UK Test

Candidates can cancel or reschedule their test booking up to 48 hours before the test time. There is no financial penalty for doing this.

To cancel or reschedule, log into your UAT-UK account. You then need to click on the test booking and navigate to ‘Manage Appointment’. You can also contact Pearson VUE Customer Services for help. UAT-UK can’t modify your booking or cancel your test. Please do not use the secure message function for assistance. This will lead to delays.

If you don’t reschedule or cancel on time, or if you miss your appointment, you’ll lose your test fee. Candidates who used a bursary to pay for their test will not receive a new one to cover the cost of rebooking.

Please note that each UAT-UK test, for 2026 entry, will only run over two test days per test sitting. Any rescheduling is subject to Test Centre availability. You should reschedule as early as possible to avoid disappointment. If you cancel a test booking after the registration deadline, you will not be able to book another slot.

If you can’t make it to your test because of illness, injury, or personal reasons, check the Special Consideration Policy. Then, contact the UAT-UK office as soon as you can via your account.

ESAT Module Selection

It is not possible to change your module selection or add or remove modules after booking your test. Make sure you check the entrance requirements for your course before you book.

If your requirements change or you make an error, you must cancel your test booking and book again. There is no guarantee you will be able to secure the same appointment. If you need help with this, you should contact Pearson VUE Customer Services.
