UAT-UK will offer a new Test of Academic Reasoning for University Admission (TARA) for 2026 entry.

What do my scores mean?

Scores are reported on a scale of 1.0 to 9.0.

For the TMUA you will get one overall score. For the ESAT you will get a score per module. For the TARA you will get two scores, one for Critical Thinking and one for Problem Solving. The Writing Task is not scored.

An explanation of the meaning of your scaled score will be provided when your results are released.
