Contacting Pearson VUE Customer Services

Pearson VUE Customer Services must be your first port of call for many common issues and questions. In order to avoid delay, please ensure you are quoting your UAT-UK Candidate ID in all correspondence or have it to hand when making a call to Pearson VUE.

Please be aware that UAT-UK cannot assist with enquiries in these areas.

You should contact Pearson VUE for:

  • Technical issues with your UAT-UK account or changes to your personal details that you cannot make via your online account.
  • Test booking or payment issues including finding a suitable Test Centre
  • Test booking with approved access arrangements
  • Notifying us of your need for wheelchair access or an adjustable height desk at your test centre
  • Rescheduling or cancelling existing test bookings that you cannot do via your online account.
  • Questions about the check-in procedures at your test centre or the photo ID requirements.
  • Following up on a test incident
  • Problems accessing your test results
  • Complaints about any aspect of the Pearson VUE service
  • General enquiries

Important Note to Candidates: If you are reporting illness within 48 hours of your test, please do not call Pearson VUE Customer Services. They will not be able to assist and if any special consideration you may be eligible for will not be applied. Please report this to UAT-UK through your online account.

Contacting UAT-UK as a UAT-UK Candidate

If you are a candidate and wish to ask a question about any of the following areas, you can submit a message via your online account. This will come directly through to the UAT-UK team.

Please do not use this function for areas listed above as you will be redirected to Pearson VUE and this will further delay a response.

You should contact UAT-UK for enquiries relating to:

  • Bursary applications
  • Access arrangement requests
  • Illness, injury or personal circumstances under the Special Consideration Policy
  • ID exemptions (applicable to UK candidates only)
  • Appeals or escalations of a complaint that has exhausted all available channels with Pearson VUE*

UAT-UK can also be contacted directly for Freedom of Information Requests or Subject Access Requests. This should be submitted in writing via email. Please see the information further down this page.

*UAT-UK will only be able to address complaints or report of Test Incidents that have first been reported to Pearson VUE. You must have a Case ID number and all avenues of appeal with Pearson VUE must have been exhausted.

 Requests for Information under the Freedom of Information Act (FOI) or Data Protection Act (DPA)

If you wish to make a Freedom of Information request or a Subject Access Request under the Data Protection Act, you must put your request in writing to us. You must send this to data@esat-tmua.ac.uk.

Requests will be dealt with in line with guidance issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office. If you wish to raise a complaint about the response you receive, please contact us again and your case will be reviewed by a UAT-UK Director.

Contacting UAT-UK: Non-Candidates

If you are not a UAT-UK candidate or do not have a UAT-UK online account. You can contact us using the form below. Please provide as much information as you can to help us answer your enquiry. Please note responses can take five working days.

Data Privacy: We must have a candidate’s written consent to respond to a third party (such as a parent/guardian or teacher) who is acting on behalf of a candidate. It is therefore preferable that candidates contact us directly.
